Lupin appoints Brian Savage as President and Chief Legal Officer

Lupin has announced the appointment of Brian Savage as President and Chief Legal Officer. Savage will lead the company’s global Legal, Compliance and Intellectual Property Management Group (IPMG) functions and will be based in New Jersey.

Savage joins Lupin from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held several senior leadership roles since 2015. Most recently, he served as Teva’s Executive Vice President and Interim Global Chief Legal Officer. During his tenure, he also led Teva’s global litigation strategy and served as General Counsel for its US Generics business. Before joining Teva, Savage practised law at Dechert LLP.

Savage holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Yale Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
