Rachael Rome Joins HDR as Behavioral Health Principal

Rachael Rome has joined HDR as a Behavioral Health Principal, dedicated to helping healthcare organizations create environments that support healing, dignity and improved outcomes. With expertise spanning healthcare simulation, strategic planning, campus master planning and behavioral health design, Rome partners with healthcare organizations to shape the future of behavioral healthcare through client strategy, medical planning, project leadership and business development. Her experience includes partnerships with leading academic medical centers, health systems, government agencies and community-based providers focused on behavioral health and integrated care. Prior to joining HDR, she spent more than seven years at HKS, most recently as Director of Mental and Behavioral Health Design. Rome holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Texas Tech University
