Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention 2027: registration now open for exhibitors

21-22 April 2027, Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), Germany – International DLG conference and business platform for the feed and food systems of the future – Exhibitors and sponsors can now register: Exhibitor and sponsor registration

The Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention 2027 has opened registration for exhibitors and sponsoring partners. Taking place on 21 and 22 April 2027 at the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), the international event, organized by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), will bring together companies, start-ups, research institutions and decision-makers. Under the theme “Driving Innovation across the Agrifood System,” the convention will explore innovations and business opportunities shaping the future of feed and food production.

The exhibition accompanying the convention offers companies and organizations a highly targeted platform to showcase solutions, technologies and services within the context of a high-level conference program, while providing direct access to international stakeholders from across the agrifood value chain.

At the event, exhibiting companies will be positioned as drivers of innovation, covering topics ranging from agricultural raw materials and production technologies to food processing, market development and regulatory frameworks. Participation opportunities include exhibition space, sponsorship packages and customized formats integrated into the convention environment.

The exhibition is closely linked to the convention program, both physically and conceptually. “As all delegates meet up in the exhibition area during networking breaks and on their way to sessions, this space creates valuable opportunities for exhibitors to connect with decision-makers from agriculture, food and feed production, processing industries, technology suppliers, research institutions and trade organizations,” says Yuliya Bondarenko, Project Manager of the Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention, DLG

Covering the entire agrifood value chain

The two-day conference program comprises 18 themed sessions across three parallel blocks, complemented by plenary sessions that feature international keynote speakers. Topics will address the full spectrum of future feed and food systems:

  • Raw Materials: Agricultural raw material sources for feed and food production, vertical farming, alternative protein sources, aquaculture, algae and novel biomass sources.
  • Technologies: Fermentation and biotechnology, automation, sensors and artificial intelligence (AI), indoor and vertical farming, insect farming and cellular agriculture.
  • Processing: Industrial scaling, integration of novel production systems and high-value crops.
  • Markets: Novel foods, food safety, business models, financing, sustainability, environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations, and regulatory frameworks.

Further sessions will focus on technologies such as fermentation, biotechnology, automation, artificial intelligence, sensor systems, indoor and vertical farming, insect farming and cellular agriculture. Additional program points will explore industrial scaling, the integration of new production systems, high-value crops, novel foods, food safety, business models, financing, sustainability and regulatory developments.

The program will feature a new Startup Award as well as interactive networking formats, including innovation pitches, technology tours and matchmaking sessions. These elements actively connect exhibitors with industry partners, investors and potential customers while fostering knowledge exchange and business development.

“The convention is specifically designed to create opportunities for networking across the agrifood sector. Topic-focused networking lounges, an international networking evening, and startup and innovation pitch sessions followed by investor and partner matchmaking make the convention a key meeting point for the global agrifood community,” says Bondarenko.
