Pangea Reptile Partners with John Ball Zoo on New Frog and Friends Enclosure

We’ve been working on something behind the scenes that we’re incredibly excited to share! For those who don’t know, Pangea Reptile’s headquarters is located in Zeeland, MI, just about 30 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, where the John Ball Zoo is located. We’re excited to announce that we are partnering with the John Ball Zoo to help build out a new enclosure for their Frogs & Friends space! 

Last week our team visited John Ball Zoo to scope out the space and start planning out the build. While we were there, we also donated a large amount of wood that was too large to ship via mail. Rather than letting it go to waste, that wood is being repurposed and distributed throughout the zoo for other animals to enjoy including the Lynx, Woodpeckers, and more! Here is a pic of the Lynx with some of our Cork Bark, he used it as a scratching post right away! 

As part of this partnership, we will be designing and building a new Chameleon enclosure that will be showcased in the Frogs & Friends space. The new exhibit is planned to be built over the fall/winter season, with a grand opening in Spring 2027. We can't wait to share more as the project progresses, stay tuned!
