Aurobindo Pharma USA completes acquisition of Lannett following US FTC approval

Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc. (APUSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, has completed its acquisition of Lannett Company, Inc., USA from Lannett Seller Holdco, Inc., following approval from the US Federal Trade Commission on June 18, 2026.

The company made the announcement in a disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, with reference to its letter dated June 19, 2026, and press release dated June 22, 2026.

Effective June 29, 2026, Lannett has become a wholly owned subsidiary of APUSA and will operate as Lannett Company LLC.

According to the company, the integration process will commence immediately, with a focus on ensuring uninterrupted access to critical medications, maintaining relationships with partners, and supporting employees during the transition.

The company stated that, by combining capabilities and resources, the organisation aims to enhance the availability of essential medicines and deliver long-term value to patients, customers and stakeholders.

APUSA also stated that it has welcomed more than 400 Lannett employees into its organisation, adding to its talent base and operational capabilities.

The company further stated, “We extend our sincere appreciation to Lannett’s management team for their leadership in enabling a smooth transition, as well as for their valuable contributions to the organisation.”
