The Critical Care Medicine board exam saw a slight drop in pass rates from 2024 to 2025, with 86% passing the exam.

Geriatric Medicine 

The Geriatric Medicine board exam saw a rise in pass rates from 2024 to 2025, going from 89% to 94%. 

Hematology 

The Hematology board exam pass rate was steady from 2024 to 2025, with 93% passing in 2025.

Infectious Disease 

The Infectious Disease board exam pass rate dropped slightly in 2025, with 93% of takers passing the exam.

Medical Oncology 

In 2025, the pass rate for first-time test takers remained the same, with 90% of takers passing the exam.

Nephrology 

The Nephrology board exam saw a slight increase in pass rates from 2024 to 2025, going from 82% to 83%. 

Pulmonary Disease 

The Pulmonary Disease board exam saw steady pass rates of 93% from 2024 to 2025.

Rheumatology  

The Rheumatology board exam saw a slight increase in pass rates, going from 90% in 2024 to 92% in 2025. 

Sleep Medicine 

The Sleep Medicine board exam saw the largest drop in pass rates of all ABIM exams, going from 90% in 2024 to 83% in 2025.
