Eris Lifesciences appoints Chirag Mehta as Executive Director

Eris Lifesciences has announced the appointment of Chirag Mehta as Executive Director. He will be based at the company’s Mumbai office and will report to the CMD.

In his non-statutory executive role, Mehta will oversee Finance, Investor Relations and the International Business.

Mehta brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in finance, strategy and M&A across the Indian and international pharmaceutical industry. He was most recently CFO at Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd., a Mankind Group company. Earlier, he served as SVP & CFO at Biological E. Ltd., Hyderabad, and CFO – International at Cipla.

He holds an MBA from Grand Valley State University, Michigan, USA.

Commenting on the appointment, Amit Bakshi, CMD, Eris Lifesciences, said, “We are happy to have Chirag with us. He brings a strong base in finance, international business and biotech, which is a good fit for the phase we are entering.”
