Major pharmacy chain launches 20% discount for healthcare workers

Starting Aug. 20, 2026, Rexall is offering 20% off every Thursday for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, health administrators and other healthcare professionals as part of its “Healthcare Hero Thursday” program.

“Healthcare workers dedicate themselves every day to helping others live healthier lives, often under challenging circumstances,” said Rexall COO Jeff Boutilier in a news release. “As a pharmacy and healthcare partner serving communities across Canada, we’re proud to recognize their contributions through our new Healthcare Hero Thursdays.”

To take advantage of the discount, eligible healthcare professionals must be members of Rexall’s Be Well loyalty program. The discount only applies to regular-priced merchandise and excludes some products, such as prescription drugs, products with codeine and insulin.
